Ordinary Moments
For me, prayer is nothing but a conversation with my Father in heaven. Previously, I did not want to bother God with the details of my small life. He had much bigger things on which to focus. But when I started thinking of God as my Father, then I, as a parent, began to think about the kind of relationship I wanted with my sons. I want to be there for, and hear about, every little detail of their lives. I love our conversations. They reveal our hearts to one another. I think God is the same way. I have found the more I am in conversation with God, the closer He comes into the ordinary moments of my life. And the more I bring God into the ordinary moments of my life, the more I have been transformed by Him. Remember, His heart is revealed to me as much as mine is to Him when we pass the time together. The circumstances of my life may not be significantly altered, but I have been changed, which has made every difference.
God is GOOD ~ ALL the time!!
