On this day, July 10th, 26 years ago, the Grant Pod was completed with the arrival of Aaron Patrick Grant—9.5 pounds of passion personified. He loves large and feels deeply. His heart is so big! Aaron loved his Daddy more than any other person on this planet. The wonderful part of that is they lived their love. They laughed and played and fought and laughed some more. In some ways, it is poetically perfect that this day binds them together forever.

The Grant Family Pod was forever changed again on this day, four years ago. But the love we all shared continues to grow, and the memories we made continue to reap the harvests of joy and laughter. John continues to be present with us in every good way. I see him in his sons, and I smile. I am forever grateful for those 34 years, one month, and three days on this side of heaven. I would do every single thing all over again.
