Consumed

When I read and meditate on the verse each day from my Bible app, very often, I am washed over by the emotions the words elicit in my spirit. Writing it down is my attempt to derive the essence of God’s Word as I understand it, tuck it into my heart, and carry it into the day with me. I am not a theologian, nor do I hold a degree in Divinity or Apologetics; I was raised in the antithesis of a churched environment, and I realize my perspective is narrow. However, I love Jesus! He is very real in my life. I am consumed with wonder about a Father who loved me before I drew my first breath, and I am trying to make sense of the Holy Spirit! Spending time in God’s word is my attempt to get to know them more each day and to allow that knowledge, wisdom, and wonder to shape my life in new and compelling ways. I hope that some part of my message also speaks to someone else’s heart and always, always, ALL WAYS glorifies my Father in heaven.
